Manager, Production (Biodiesel)
Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily refinery activities to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations.
- Ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properly, and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Ensure all operations follow safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead and manage the refinery team, providing training and support as needed.
- Evaluate staff performance and ensure the team is operating efficiently.
- Manage the refinery’s budget and control costs.
- Monitor spending and identify areas for cost savings.
- Keep senior management informed of refinery performance.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Min. 10+ years in refinery operations, with 5+ years in a management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of refining processes.
- Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
